Central Market is kind of like HEB's answer to Whole Foods, more or less. Their Westgate location is the best! I go there to get a big ass salad from their salad bar probably 2 or 3 times a week. You can find Central Market brands in most HEB stores, but I say go straight to the source. Their bulk foods section is pretty great too!
Bouldin Creek Cafe is just the shit. I love it. This cafe is 100% vegetarian with many locally grown & sold ingredients on their menu. Now, don't hear 100% vegetarian & think there's nothing there for you. My meat eater boyfriend goes nuts for their Wanna-BLT sammich & we both agree that their vegan cupcakes are da-best!

Beets Cafe's motto is "A cafe as unique as Austin". This all raw restaurant is something really different! http://beetscafe.com/
It's not a cheap place for dinner- as far as cafe's go, but it's a nice little treat.
UPDATE: OH NO! THEY'RE CLOSING AT THE END OF JUNE. WALK DON'T RUN GO TRY THEM NOW

Counter Culture is really cool. It's an all vegan restaurant with recipes I would have never thought of myself. They went from being a food truck up on North Loop & now have their own- non movable- place on E. Cesar Chavez. http://countercultureaustin.com/
